Carol was born in Washington DC, the youngest of twelve where her father worked for CIA during the Kennedy Administration. She studied journalism in the midwest then went to New York City where she received a B.A. in Creative Writing and Film, an Associate’s in Dramatic Art and taught theater at a private grade school. While acting, Carol directed a play which premiered at the Fringe Festival before deciding to focus on writing scripts. Her play, NOTHING PRIVATE was selected by Soho Theatre of London’s critique workshop. Her poetry won a National Arts Club Literary Award and was published in Barrow Street Literary Journal.
