ABOUT THE WRITER
Born the youngest of twelve in Washington DC, Carol’s father was CIA during the Kennedy Administration. A graduate of the American Academy for Dramatic Arts in New York, she studied journalism, piano and folklore in the Midwest and holds a B.A. in creative writing and film from New School. Her poetry, published in Barrow Street Literary Journal, was awarded a National Arts Club Literary Scholarship. Her play, NOTHING PRIVATE, was accepted by the prestigious Soho Theatre of London's critique workshop. She has worked with Moscow Art Theatre, Labyrinth Theater Co, The Private Theater and at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Society Library New York, and Catholic Art Association in Chicago.
Carol lives in New York City, and is currently writing a film adaptation of an unpublished novel she wrote.
